ZIZ TOYZ - COMBINING THREE DIMENSIONAL MODELS TOGETHER
COMBINING DIFFERENT MODELS TOGETHER One of the unique character of the wooden ZIZ TOYZ series is that different series can be combined together. Baby, Architect, Palicca and Micco can be combined together as they use the same 30 mm basic measuring. According to the images on the left common Palicca and Micco connectors have been placed on the sides of of different elements. COMBAINING ELEMENTS OF EACH MODEL The second character is how to combine different elements of one series. Please, find below a summary description of the method how each toy series is combined. NIXI 1. A corner brick solution is applied in the wooden Nixi system. The dowels are wood, which has been got elastic by cross sawed holes. The connection fixes itself and it is easy to use. The construction is totally elastic, which makes assembling and un-assembling easy and suitable for child's power. PALICCA 2. The wooden Palicca system is based on using elastic, plastic coupling which looks cubelike. The joint has a locking threshold, which will be pushed over relating locking threshold in each building element. MICCO 3. The coupling of the wooden Micco system is based on elasticity and locking threshold. The design of the coupling looks arching. In the Micco system the three dimensionality is realized both by using connection holes in different parts of the building element and like in Square by using separate corner bricks. SQUARE 4. The connection of composite plastic Square is based on the fact that the hollow building element has been made by two, together welded parts, between of which remains an elastic hole which has a locking threshold. As a counter part there is a corner brick, which has suitable sides by locking thresholds for this hole. By the corner brick the construction can be made three dimensional, i.e. to build in directions of x, y and z axels. |
